POL junior W: Junior women’s national team before the European Championships’ qualifications

Junior men’s national team have already had sparring matches with the Czech Republic. Polish national team does not have to take part in the European Championships’ qualification tournament, because Poland together with Denmark with co-organize the tournament and the matches are to be performed in Randers and Gdynia, in term 25th of August – 2nd of September.

Junior women’s national team has to go through eliminations, and the best teams will fight for medals in Ankara, in term 18th -26th  of August. On Thursday the 12-person team of the polish players will travel to Bardejovo (Slovakia), in order to play three matches against the local team. 

I do not know how many official and training matches we will have. The organizers will decide about it” – said coach of the polish team Andrzej Peć. Polish junior women’s national team will return to the country on Saturday afternoon. 

The 12 players who will perform against Slovakia will also play at the European Championships’ qualification tournament in Mohylewo (Belarus), in term 11th – 15th of April.

The rivals of Andrzej Peć’s team are: Belarus, France, Lithuania, Latvia, and Germany. The winner will promote to the final tournament in Ankara. Furthermore, the second and the third team will have the next chance during the tournaments in July.
