Media in Poland speculate widely about the change on the bench of their men’s volleyball powerhouse Asseco Resovia Rzeszów.
The fans of Resovia are eager to learn who’ll command their team next season. As it turns out, and that’s what Brazilian media say, Marcelo Méndez won’t continue working for the Rzeszów club. From Italy came reports that the successor of an Argentine will be Giampaolo Medei. Italian expert is currently without a club after parting ways with Turkey’s Ziraat Bankkart at the end of the last season.
As for Méndez, who replaced Medei’s compatriot Alberto Giuliani during the season, he’s not willing to extend his contract with Resovia as he’ll accept some other assignment – whether on a club level or in some national team, remains unknown.
