The 31-year-old outside hitter Filippo Lanza in the 2022/2023 season will represent the colors of PGE Skra Bełchatów.
Filippo Lanza is a player who does not need to be introduced to volleyball fans. He has many seasons behind him playing in the most successful clubs in Italy, including Trentino Volley and Sir Safety Perugia. He won two championships with them and three vice-championships in Italy, won the Italian Cup and Super Cup three times, with Trentino twice for the World Club Championship, in 2012 he won the bronze and in 2016 the silver medal of the Champions League. He won the CEV Cup twice. He spent the previous season in the Chinese Shanghai Golden Age.
“As a player, I love new challenges, especially if they are related to the fight for high goals, which is what PGE Skra measures. I want to do my best and help the club achieve the results it undoubtedly deserves,” says Lanza.
