In the 10th round of Poland’s PlusLiga volleyball matches played today, Asseco Resovia, Ślepsk Malow Suwałki, and Jastrzębski Węgiel emerged victorious.
Asseco Resovia clinched a 3-0 win against GKS Katowice. Despite the absence of Jakub Kochanowski and Torey DeFalco, Resovia managed a dominant performance with top scorers Stephen Boyer (17 points), Yacine Louati (15), Klemen Cebulj (14), and Karol Kłos (10). Jonas Kvalen, formerly of Resovia, scored 15 points for GKS.
In another match, PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów suffered a 1-3 defeat to Ślepsk Malow Suwałki. Despite a strong comeback in the third set by Skra, Suwałki took the final set. The game’s top scorers were Dawid Konarski (28 points) for Skra and Bartosz Filipiak (26) for Ślepsk Malow. Bartosz Firszt (15) was named MVP with a 59% attack efficiency.
Lastly, Jastrzębski Węgiel continued their unbeaten streak by defeating Trefl Gdańsk 3-0. Key contributions came from Jean Patry (14 points), Tomasz Fornal (13), and Norbert Huber (10), leading the team to their 10th consecutive victory. Tomasz Fornal’s exceptional performance earned him the MVP title.
