“Janusz was a very well-known figure of the Polish volleyball. Such people need to be remembered, so without hesitation, we accepted the proposal to come to Radom and play in the game to his memory” said the president of PGE Skra Konrad Piechocki.
Before the match Piechocki, along with the president of AZS Mariusz Szyszko and representatives of the Radom volleyball laid flowers on the grave of Janusz Sobol.
“About Mr. Janusz I can only speak warmly, with great respect, because he could find a way out of difficult situations” Jacek Nawrocki, the coach of PGE Skra said.
“We train very hard lately, but we’re used to it. We are delighted with the victory, because we like to win” PGE Skra’s Pawel Woicki commented.
Today, another friendly match in Radom will be played. Czarni Radom will play with Indykpol AZS Olsztyn. Admission is free.
