A 24-year-old Szymon Romać will play as back-up for Wlazły on opposite position in Skra next season.

The first time he made a breakthrough in PlusLiga was in the season 2014/15, while wearing the jersey of Cuprum Lubin, when he was one of the best opposites in terms of statistics in the championship. He was awarded for his performances by being summoned to the Polish NT squad for the 2015 European Games and CEV European League.

Last season, Romać was a member of Lotos Trefla Gdańsk, loaned by Lubin, scoring 78 points in 26 games.
