After last week’s match against Polish champion Asseco Resovia, Jastrzebski WEGIEL will meet with the country’s vice champion PGE Skra Belchatow.
On Thursday Belchatow won away in the Champions League against with the Romanian Tomis Constanta 3-0. This meeting was not good for Mariusz Wlazly who slightly turned up ankle. According to the coach Nawrocki, however, is not a dangerous injury and star can occur in Sunday’s match against WEGIEL.
The team of WEGIEL still play without injured libero Damian Wojtaszek, which worthily replace 16-year old James Popiwczak of Talent Academy.
Jastrzebski WEGIEL coach points out that the team needs to work on eliminating downtime in the game. “Sometimes we play great, but we also have moments of weakness. It was as if someone suddenly turned off the electricity. It’s not just a technical problem. Sometimes we lose focus. Above this we have to work” highlights Jastrzębski coach.
“Before Sunday’s game WEGIEL are obviously aware of the class enemy, seven-time national champion, but I promise to fight for the win”. Coach Bernardi, moreover, repeated like a mantra that the main objective of the team is winning. “This target can not escape us. We need to continue with hard work.
