Despite the fact that Bartosz Kurek underachieved in the recently finished EuroVolley 2017, just like the entire Polish Men’s National Team, many fans in his country would probably be disappointed if he would decide to retire internationally. After all, Poland did not have so many superstars in its volleyball history such as Kurek.

“Our failure in the European Championship and the fact that I’m not satisfied with the way I played in the tournament, makes me think about my future in the Polish National Team. I don’t know if the coach sees me for the next season, but regardless of his thoughts, I have the right to decide,” Kurek said for the fakt.pl.

“I’m leaving all options open because I could see that I was exhausted, burned out. My play was not satisfactory either for me or for the fans. The question is, which way to go now,” a new player of the Turkish club Ziraat Bankası Ankara added.
