Russia – Brazil
Teams decided to play an additional set which Russia won 25:22.
William Arjona commented his first game in the Brazilian national team:
“Despite not being an official game, I am very happy with my debut for the national team. The team played even better than I expected. We play well after 20 days” William said, already thinking of the second friendly game between Brazil and Russia.
“Tomorrow we have another game, this time with public at the gym, and it will be very interesting. I am happy and had a little anxiety in my debut for Brazil. Now we need to train more and get some rest because tomorrow is another good game.“
“We have to make good use of all these trainings and games to have a good start in the World League next week against Poland” explained William Arjona.
Brazil will debut in the World League on the 7th against Poland, in their court. On the 9th, the second match will be played. From there, Brazil goes to Argentina, where it will play the second stage of the competition.
