He had called head coach Vladimir Alekno and said – “I can’t play for Russia right now due to personal reasons”! It was huge shock for Russia and the fans but despite that, Alekno’s team managed to take ticket for Rio!

The middle blocker of Belogorie shared thoughts about his future in NT and talked about this great success of “Zbornaya”:

“I still want to play for Russia. That desire is not leaving me. Of course, I watched qualifying tournament. The guys completed very good job. I want to say congratulations, they’ve done amazing thing” says Muserskiy.

on my personal opinion i think they dont need him anymore the roster of russia right now is pretty damn good. they just need to adjust on the receiving that’s all they need to polish but that finals against france they play really well and they move and play fast and block really well. so i think alekno is good on his roster, they can win medal in RIO2016 without musersky
