GP 2016: Russia beat Netherlands, superb performances of Goncharova and Sloetjes

…And the champions scored a valuable triumph.

Russia defeated Netherlands in Kaliningrad after four sets. It was a battle of two volleyball powerhouses, while the match itself was marked by a true showdown between two great scorers – Nataliya Goncharova on one side and Lonneke Sloetjes on the other.

At the end, Goncharova finished the game with 29 points and celebrated the victory of her Russia, while on the other side Sloetjes answered with 27 points, but that was not enough for the Dutch squad this time.
