Belogorie, one of the main favorites to dethrone Zenit Kazan, had a slow start of the match, losing the first set, which was expected due to the fact that all their players have gathered only one day prior to the game, 3-1 (19-25, 25-15, 25-20, 25-18).
Dmitriy Muserskiy topped Belogorie with 21 points. In Samotlor, the Argentine opposite Pablo Kukartsev, who came to the club this summer, scored 16 points.
