Vladimir Zinichev, the general director of a two-time consecutive Women’s Russian titleholders Dinamo Moscow, said that they will begin a process of merging with the Men’s section of the club at the end of the upcoming season.

We will start this season (in ‘Dinamo Sports Palace’, the ground of the Men’s club Dinamo Moscow) on Lavochkina Street. ‘Druzhba’ (the Sports Palace ‘Druzhba’, the home ground of the Women’s club Dinamo Moscow) is still under reconstruction. The gymnasium in Lavochkina Street does not quite meet our requirements. As usual, this year, we (Women’s and Men’s sections of Dinamo Moscow) are separate clubs. Next year, at the end of the season, we will begin the process of integration with the Men’s club Dinamo and, accordingly, we plan to start playing at the ‘Volleyball Center’ on Kozhina Street,” Zinichev explained.

The “Volleyball Center” on Kozhina Street (official name: the “Match Point” – a new multifunctional complex with apartments and sports volleyball arena), will be the largest international volleyball center in Moscow, and in Russia, when it is built in 2018.
