Jaamsa officials had to go to Cuba to complete the paperwork with the Cuban Volleyball Federation for the two receivers: a 22-year-old Sulian Matienzo, who arrived in the club from the Czech titleholders VK AGEL Prostějov earlier, and a 24-year-old Regla Gracia, who extended the contract.

Jaamsa have another Cuban player on their roster, the middle blocker Daymara Lescay, who also renewed the deal but her fate is uncertain as Peruvian league rules allow only two foreigners per team on the field at the same time.
