The receiver of the team Eczacıbaşı Vitra has been working with dedication despite her injured knee, but after having talked with Prof. Dr. Mustafa Karahan she decided to avoid more damage to the knee and to continue healing it.
It certainly means that the Turkish national team will struggle in the 2013 FIVB World Grand Prix without career full of success Esra Gümüş in the roster.
Until the European championship she will complete the treatment process and turn to that competition where is expected to take place in the Turkish national team.
