2021/22 Turkish Women’s Volleyball Championship started with a match between the vice-champions and newcomers.
The new season of the 2021/22 Misli.com Sultanlar Ligi started with the match between the home side of Bolu Bld. and Fenerbahçe Opet. The ‘Yellow Angels’ prevailed in three sets, partially 25-16, 25-17, and 25-20, having control of the match against the topflight newcomers the entire time.
Fenerbahçe’s head coach Zoran Terzić gave the chance to backups today, leaving his main forces (Fedorovtseva, Ana Cristina, Naz…) on the bench. Tutku Burcu Yüzgenç stood out on the winning side with 15 points, while Meliha İsmailoğlu made 84 % reception (19 digs, two errors, 68 % perfect).
