TUR W: VakıfBank Sets New Guinness World Record for the Third Time

VakıfBank, one of Turkey’s leading volleyball teams, has entered the Guinness World Records for the third time after becoming the most successful team in the CEV Champions League. With six titles (2011, 2013, 2017, 2018, 2022 and 2023), including four undefeated seasons, VakıfBank now holds the record for winning the most championships in the prestigious competition.

In a press conference held at VakıfBank Sports Palace, Guinness World Records Judge Şeyda Subaşı Gemici presented the official certificate to VakıfBank Sports Club President Abdi Serdar Üstünsalih. This latest achievement adds to the team’s previous records for the “most consecutive official matches won” and “most FIVB Club World Championships titles.”
