“Our goal is to minimize the referees’ mistakes. We will give them an opportunity to learn through some seminars, training sessions. I think with more referees we won’t have too many mistakes like we have nowadays in volleyball,” says the chairman of TVF, Aziz Yener.
“We will firstly provide special conditions for our young referees at the Turkish Championship Festival 2017. The main conditions in choosing the referees will be: to know English, to be graduated from high school and to have played volleyball. Also, we are considering more video systems that will help referees in making difficult decisions,” says Yener.
