CEV CUP F: MUSZYNA won the CEV Cup!

It's the first time in the history of women's volleyball that a Polish team won a European cup. Bank BPS Fakro Muszyna defeated Fenerbahce in the second leg match in Istanbul 2:3. WorldofVolley brings you the latest volleyball news.

Fenerbahce started the first set with 3:1, but Muszyna quickly tied 3:3. After that the guests increased their lead 6:10, 8:13 and kept the lead until the end of the set 18:25.

The beginning of the second set was played point for point, on the tehnical timeouts, Fenerbahce was up by a point 8:7, 16:15. After that they got to a three point lead 20:17 and finished 25:19.

Muszyna had a great start in the third set 0:8, Fenerbahce managed to decrease the lead 4:8, on the second tehnical it was 9:16 and 11:9 for the Polish team. They won it clearly 15:25.

The fourt set was tied at 14:14, then at 18:18, after that Fenerbahce got a two point lead 20:18 and kept it until the end 25:22.

Bank BPS Fakro Muszyna had a great start in the tie break, 1:4. The advantage lasted 3:6. Soon it was 3:8. After that the Polish team lead by 7 points. Fenerbahce managed to close the gap but Muszyna closed 11:15 and won the CEV Cup!
