After a short break following the last round of the national league, the group around Czech star Helena Havelkova resumed training on Monday also to get acquainted with the Mikasa ball that is being used in all European Cups.
Dutch lady Floortje Meijners will re-join the group after being out for one week while URBINO shall be lining up Polish setter Katarzyna Skorupa, young Belgian opposite Lise van Hecke, the duo of Ilaria Garzaro and Lucia Crisanti as middle blockers, plus wing spikers Tirozzi and Blagojevic.
The libero of the guest team will be young rising star Imma Sirressi.
“We have a very busy schedule” says home libero Giulia Leonardi, “and this first match with Robur Tiboni is of the outmost importance. We are confident because we all feel good even though some did rest for the last round of the national league with VILLA CORTESE. Our physical trainer has been doing a great job and we feel ready for this tough challenge”.
The match will be broadcast live by Sportitalia 2 and the winner determined after the return match in Urbino will be playing 2004 Tomis CONSTANTA or Galatasaray ISTANBUL in the final.
