The group around setter Dirk-Jan Van Gendt hopes to make it to the next stage of the competition, something unique in the history of the club.
Even though all sets were quite close (25-20, 25-20, and 25-23), still the result of the first match was never to be questioned and the local crowd in Antwerp will be an extra motivation for the guys coached by Kris Tanghe on Tuesday. This past Saturday the team also claimed their last match in the national league even though some of the players normally included in the starting six were given a break. After the golden set win against Aris THESSALONIKI in the previous round, the local fans can barely wait for another memorable Volleyball night.
