After a triumphant stint in the UAE during the previous season, where he won 4 trophies and achieved historic success with Baniyas, Banderó is ready to begin a new chapter in Europe.

Banderó’s journey has been filled with international experiences, as he has played in several countries. Starting his tenure in Brazil, he moved on to play in Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Korea, Qatar, Lebanon, and most recently in UAE. The longest time he spent was in Korea, where he played for over five seasons with five different teams.

The next season will see Banderó return to Europe and join Benfica, one of Portugal’s most distinguished volleyball clubs.
