After a month of searching, Iranian representatives have finally found a solution. Lozano will replace Serbian coach Slobodan Kovač at helm of the team.
The officials of Iranian volleyball federation were not satisfied with the results that Kovac achieved in 2015. So, they decided to part ways with former Olympic champions.
Lozano currently leads Polish Cerrad Czarni Radom, but it is still unknown whether he will stay or leave…Recall that Anastasi was the target of the Iranian federation but, they couldn’t convince him.
His main goal will be to try to reach the ticket for Rio at the qualifying tournament.

why iran is so desperate, all they need to do is to talk to their players, they need to listen to their coach and have a good communication its not like when the coach is talking to them no one listen
So it’s not about the coach, but about the players??!!! And so why they changed Kovac, it doesn’t matter who will be the coach if the players continue like that!!!
u know dee jae, not just iranian players but all iranian people are so emotional and they need also a coach who will train & communicate them psychologically rather than technically because they are too prefect at both talent an technique, eventually,i donna why wow doesn’t publish my comments
Lozano will throw out everyone who is rude. He is better option than indulgent Anastasi for Iranians.
@DEE JAE, It’s coach duty to make players listen to him! Kovac couldn’t manage the team and he didn’t have prestige. A good coach can manage the players and doesn’t let them do everything they want.
@DEE JAE Isn’t it better to think before commenting about something? Iranian players are professional players they are not like Japanese , Korean or Chinese players in Asia anymore whose responsibility is it to make the players mentally ready for a match or a tournament like world cup? it’s the coach, coach should motivate his players and that’s something Kovac was unable to do in his last year as Iran NT coach so they decided to bring another coach who is more experienced just like what Russia did ( Voronkov out , Alekno in ) also in Italy , players needed a shock and it was given by bringing Blengini instead of Berruto and it worked out you talk as if Iran has only 12 or 14 players but i can promise you that Iran has more talented players even than Brazil , Italy , Russia
And after all… Kovac will get all his money…:)))
