The 2023 CEV Women’s Champions League will make history as it features an all-Turkish final to mark the conclusion of the season for Europe’s top tier. Eczacıbaşı Dynavit secured their place in the final after defeating Igor Gorgonzola Novara in a thrilling semifinal second leg hosted by Eczacıbaşı, winning the match 3-0. The final will take place in Turin, Italy, and Eczacıbaşı Dynavit will face the winner of the Fenerbahçe Opet – VakıfBank match.
Eczacıbaşı Dynavit’s effective gameplay allowed them to take the lead in the first set of the rematch, winning it 25-22. They continued their dominance in the second set, winning it 25-12 with a series of successful blocks. Although the third set was hotly contested, Eczacıbaşı Dynavit managed to come out on top with a score of 25-21, winning the match 3-0 and securing their spot in the final.
Tijana Boskovic was named the most valuable player of the match after scoring 21 points, while Irina Vorokova contributed with 11 points.
