But, squad of Karch Kiraly got its revenge pretty quickly… In the first game of the Grand Prix tournament in Brazil, USA outplayed Russia 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 25-18, 25-17).
Again, the best player in American team was Kelly Murphy who scored 20 points. She had a good support in Foluke Akinradewo who added 16 points. In Russian team Nataliya Obmochaeva made 16 points, while Tatiana Kosheleva made 12.
Both sides now has score 2-2, however not the same number of overall points. Russia has 7, while USA has 6.
