In recent weeks, several players have expressed their intention of talking to the Cuban Volleyball Federation (FCV) for a possible return to the men’s national team!

Recall that, a year ago, three big names have returned to the Cuba National Team after a long period of absence because of leaving the country at a young age to play abroad without the permission of the FCV. The list of the national team returnees will soon be expanded with more players who have built their successful careers outside Cuba.

According to El Palco blog, opposite hitters Fernando Hernández (last time played for Cuba in 2012) and Yadrian Escobar, the setter Leandro Macías (last time played for Cuba in 2014), and middle blockers Isbel Mesa (last time played for Cuba in 2014) and David Fiel (last time played for Cuba in 2014) have already expressed their intention to come to the country to negotiate with the FCV for their reintegration.
