Vermiglio
The experienced Italian setter was the last player to become available to UPCN coach Fabián Armoa. With club’s permission, he joined the preparations later then the other players due to some personal problems.
„I came to UPCN with a lot of sports motivation. I really like the good atmosphere in the team and also the warmth of the people on the street and tranquility in the city of San Juan. I love the willingness of all players and the coaching staff. These things are highly valued when you come to a new place,“ Vermiglio said.
He has an extensive volleyball career, with great achievements in the different teams in which he played. Medals with Italy National Team certainly have the special place in Vermiglio’s heart – silver at the 2004 Olympics, gold in the World League and double gold at the European Championship.
Now, UPCN miss only Nicolás Lazo, who joined Argentina U23 National Team at the Pan American Cup.
