CEV CUP M: Perugia’s coach leaves Atanasijević out for game in Slovakia

Sir Safety Conad Perugia will play the first leg of the CEV Cup’s second round in Slovakia without their best scorer.

Perugia’s coach, the Argentine Daniel Castellani, decided to leave Serbian opposite hitter Aleksandar Atanasijević aside for the match against VK Mirad PU Prešov, scheduled for today.

The idea was to rest Atanasijević for the Sunday’s derby of Italian championship against DHL Modena.

Obviously Castellani thinks that he can beat Slovakian team without his strongest attacking power…
