A 31-year-old German receiver Sebastian Schwarz joined Polish Men’s volleyball team Jastrzębski on the basis of the medical transfer in place of U.S. player Scott Touzinsky, who had to finish his sports career due to knee injury.
Schwarz is a well-known player to the fans in Poland since he has been wearing the jersey of Trefl Gdańsk from 2014 to 2016, winning silver medal in PlusLiga, Polish Cup and Polish Super Cup once each. The greatest achievement of Schwarz on a club level is the trophy in the CEV Champions League with VfB Friedrichshafen.
Schwarz, who collected 150 caps for the German National Team, started the season in the Russian side Kuzbass Kemerovo before they terminated the contract with him.
