by WoV

One of the best setter in the world Saeid Marouf, the captain of Iranian national team, has confirmed for WorldofVolley where he’s going to play next season. We asked him, Europe or Paykan, he said:

Marouf

Paykan 99 percent!”

Of course, we had to ask him about World League tournament.

We consider this tournament as preparations for the Olympic Games. We played tough and long tournament in Japan and we managed to qualify for Rio 2016. We were focused on that tournament, and this tournament we will play with a lot of players. I think we will finish this tournament in a good way” says Marouf.

At the end, we mentioned medals, but experienced setter was careful while talking about the most important volleyball tournament in 2016!

“Medals? It’s very hard to say it. It’s going to be our first appearance there but we will do our best to achieve good results. Nobody knows what will happen in the future,” concludes Marouf at the end of the interview.

Marouf and his volleyball army are currently in Belgrade, where they are trying to win some points and trying to reach World League Final 6.

Recall that setter was a member of Shardari Urmia in the last season.
