Several members of the Association have been voluntarily blood donors for many years, so this time they decided to show their togetherness and empathy by responding to the call from the Department of Transfusiology in Split, where they donated blood.
Not to mention the importance of this action given the general consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, as even in such difficult times we must not forget those who need help the most.
“Shortages of blood supplies were reported from different hospitals around Croatia, so in these extraordinary circumstances, the least we can do is to respond to this action and provide assistance to all those whose lives can be saved. Therefore, I hereby invite all those who are able to donate blood and show the gesture of humanity that our country has shown countless times, especially in such difficult circumstances. I would like to thank all the members of our association, who responded to the invitation, as this is not our first or last time to help those in need.” – said the secretary of the association, Ante Jukić.
