A shocking news for country which was at the podium on last two continental events. Poland won gold in 2009. and was defending a bronze from 2011. In fact, Anastasi’s boys wasn’t “defending” anything. They were after the main prize. They wanted to repeat that 2009…
But something went wrong. First came a defeat against France which put them in play-offs instead of the quarterfinals. And, there it was all over.
Home court meant nothing, Bulgarians won a five set drama…Poland will not get a medal.
