Flood alerts are still in place in many areas of Serbia and northern Bosnia as well.
In the Serbian town of Obrenovac, at least 17 bodies have been recovered, and officials in Bosnia-Herzegovina said 13 people had died there so far. Experts predict those numbers to rise as flood waters recede.
In Serbia alone, more than 24,000 people have evacuated to escape water that is chest-high in some areas. Bosnian officials say 30,000 people are displaced in their country.
A lot of Serbian volleyball players are helping by donating money, foods, clean water, clothes and etc.
“I would like to inform you and ask for support for the victims of flood disaster in Serbia. The situation is terrible, there are a lot of dead people. The rivers are out and the water level is between 4 and 6 meters higher than usual. I hope my volleyball world will help us to survive” explains for WoV Olympic champion from 2000 and world volleyball legend Vladimir Grbić.
