Uriarte managed to win the Group 2 World League Tournament and to advance to the F6! He also led the Australian team on the Olympic Games twice.
“For the team to get here is some kind of reward. It was interesting how we get here but it was a new challenge for us. After we won the first place in the Group 2, we returned to work with a new energy and tried to do our best in Italy” said Uriarte who already made a new plan for the Australian team:
“Now we are going home, we will take a rest few days and then we will come back to work. We want to do something good in the World Championship. We have a big challenge there and now we want to look how much we can improve in the next two months.”
Did you make a joke with your son Nicolas because you came to Florence and he didn’t?
“No. (laughs). Because I already lost twice against Argentina since I’m coaching Australia. It’s normal for me to play against him“
