France is having an amazing tournament. Squad of Laurent Tillie has finished second phase on the first place, leaving behind teams such as Poland, Iran, USA, Italy, Serbia…
On the other side we have Germany which is also presenting excellent volleyball in Poland, but we have to be honest and say that squad of Vital Heynen had much easier path toward the third phase. German side was good against the weaker rivals, but against the top teams (Brazil and Russia) they lost both times in straight sets.
And France is a top team…

It will be a surprise if Poland manage to take two sets or even all three against Brazil, but it is worth trying. Especially because Bernardo Rezende, Brazilian coach, has major problems with players’ injuries. Murilo skipped the last training, while Wallace De Souza and Sidao also have problems…
And of course, Arena will be all colored in red and white. Poland will without any doubt have the loudest support so far at the Championship… Will that be enough for two sets at least? We’ll see tomorrow evening.
