First voice against present volleyball calendar was raised by the players and coaches in Poland.
As we wrote, accordind to some media in this country, PlusLiga is considering to reduce the number of teams from 14 to 12. Reasons – lack of crowd and tight schedule.
Both things are related. Tight schedule is making influence to the fans in the way that they lose interest in watching the matches.
Second voice came from Russia. Plamen Konstantinov, the coach of Gubernya Nizhny Novgorod said that because of the tight schedule his team does not have enough time to practice and that many clubs in Super League have the same problem.
