“Athletes like Earvin Ngapeth are the best thing that could happen in volleyball. He is controversial, both on and off the court. It is important for volleyball players that are considered as the stars to attract media attention. Their appearance and behavior is sometimes incompatible with social norms but that’s the way it is. Too many unattractive players, that show good manners, are educated and neatly dressed. There are no real stars in volleyball so that’s why there are no many sponsors. In this sport, there are better players than Ngapeth, but they are not spectacular as the Frenchman, who changes every game into show and his goal is to make volleyball more attractive,” says Igor Kolakovic for N1INFO, former coach of Serbia and current coach of Iran.

I am not sure from where did you get this article because it doesn’t exist on sportklub.rs which you mentioned as a source.
The title of this article is very misleading because it is obvious from reading the article that Kolakovic didn’t criticize anyone. He just expressed his opinion that volleyball need more players who are media attractive like Ngapeth.
