The Dutch opposite Kay van Dijk is one of those players who likes to play in the teams with the high goals or with a great future perspective.

It’s the case with the Argentine team Libertad Burgi, that is competing in the elite league. So, we asked the Dutch player how’s it going in Argentina?

Argentina is perfectly fine! Libertad Burgi is really trying to become one of the top teams in Argentina and they help me a lot to make the stay here in Argentina as good as possible and even better. Our president is a very ambitious man and of course, still some things are missing but step by step this club will be one of the better teams in Argentina for sure. This season we will try to steal points, from two big teams UPCN and Bolivar and give them a very hard fight for the victory and who knows, in the end, we might be on the winning side of one of those matches. They for sure will get an opponent on the other side of the net who is experienced and willing to go all out. I always choose teams who are a challenge to me personally to get better and to make a season more memorable. Last year it was Iran, a country that has crazy volleyball and at the end of the season, stepping back in A2 to make the real difference in Siena after the other 4 opposites who already tried, and we manage to win the championship and promote to A1. Here in Argentina, I want to do the same bring this team to a higher level, set the example and for the other players, concerning the desire to win, professionalism and getting the max out of yourself. “
