ARG M: Boca won their second home game against Sarmiento

Boca - Río Uruguay defeated Sarmiento Santana in tie break 3:2 (25-27, 25-16, 21-25, 25-21 and 17-15) and lead 2-0 in victories. Guido Romanutti was MVP of the match while Santiago Darraidou finished as the top scorer with 31 points. This and other volleyball news read on Worldofvolley.com.

The meeting began with two solid teams in defense. Sarmiento Santana Textiles lock was strong in the first distance and took the lead at 16:14. In exciting first set Sarmiento Santana won the set with 27:25.

In the beginning of the second set Sarmiento committed several unforced errors and Boca Rio Uruguay Seguros used the situation to go up 8-6. The local kept the difference after a good passage of Ricardo Ferreiro (16:14). In the end the Marcelo Gigante team defended the lead and take the set with 25:23.

The third set began with Sarmiento very sharp on offense and complicate the local reception (8-3). When Boca – Río Uruguay tied the game at point 13. After that Sarmiento Santana Textiles start to play much better and won the set 25:21.

The Boca – Río Uruguay played great entirely in the fourth set. They took advantage in the beginning with good play by Diego Bonini and Alejandro Toro and lead with 8:4. Boca – Río Uruguay take this part of the game with 25:21.

As expected the fifth set began with a relentless duel of opposites Boca came up to the first break (8:5). Thanks to the great play from Guido Romanutti Boca – Río Uruguay finished set and match in their favor.
