ARG M: Argentina to host four nation friendly tournament

In preparation for the inaugural men’s U23 World Championship that will take place in Brazil, the Argentine national team will participate in a four-team friendly tournament to be held in Moron, Buenos Aires Province and then in Ferro, Buenos Aires city. Argentina, Russia, Australia and Iran are the four teams taking part in the tournament.

Matches will take place in Moron on September 28 and 29 while the action at the historical Ferro Hector Etchart Stadium will take place on October 1 and 2.

Following the new formula set out by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) the sets will be played to the best of 21 rallies – with at least a two point difference with only one technical time-out per set (on rally 12).

September 29th, 2013
