After reunions, conferences and some details, the former Italian team coach had his first training day with a group of players that already finished their seasons. Ivan Castellani and Maximiliano Cavanna were in the list.

A new illusion fills the Argentine hearts since the awaited moment finally arrived: in Club Ciudad’s facilities, Velasco made his first meeting with his players in the framework of tests and observations thinking on the World League and the World Cup.
The meeting started with a long explanation where Velasco exposed working patterns and then let the players start with the warming up exercises and technical work.

The former Iranian team coach guided the team with his technical staff that included Julian Alvarez (2nd coach), Martin Lopez (assistant) and Hernan Ferraro (U23 coach) among doctors, physical coach and other members. In the following days Camilo Soto (assistant) and Federico Fernandez Mentaberry (statesman) will join the team.
