In another match of the day, in São Bernardo, the home team also overcame the opponent in the tiebreaker. They beat Pinheiros, by 3-2, partial 21-19, 21-19, 23-25, 22-20 and 15-7 . São Bernardo played without the setter Kátia, who injured her hand.
With two victories, Pinheiros is the leader of the tournament. In the next round, on August 23, Sesi will play against São Bernardo, Amil versus São Caetano while Pinheiros will meet Uniara.
