BRA W: Smarzek’s best match since coming to Superliga helps Osasco pack 4th consecutive victory

Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde beat ABEL Moda Vôlei and packed the fourth consecutive victory in the 2022–23 Brazilian Women’s Volleyball Championship.

Osasco confirmed their third victory as a visitor and fourth overall in the 2022-23 Superliga 1XBET Feminina in a row; the team from São Paulo beat the newcomers ABEL Moda 3-0 (partials of 25-13, 25-16, and 25-22). By victoriously opening the seventh round of the competition, Osasco took third place with 13 points and a 5-1 record. The team commanded by Luizomar Moura pumped up the confidence ahead of the big match against the vice-champions and current leaders, Dentil Praia Clube, on Saturday.

Today, Osasco was led by the Pole Malwina Smarzek, who tallied 18 points. Natália Araújo ‘Natinha’ made 82% reception (17 igs, 76% excellent). Geovanna Rodrigues scored 11 points for ABEL Moda. Welissa Gonzaga ‘Sassá’ had 71% reception (71 digs, 65% excellent).
