Minas had yet another collective performance well below their reputation of the two-time consecutive vice-champions of the Superliga 1XBET Masculina. Just like in the previous two games, the Belo Horizonte team seemed, at times, without the necessary energy to develop its real game against São José in Round 10 of the 2022-23 edition of the country’s top division, less than a week after the FIVB Club World Championship dispute (took fourth place). On the other hand, by sweeping Minas, São José recorded their third win in a row and reached 20 points (7-3; third place in the standings). Minas continue with 18 points (6-3) and fifth place in the charts.

Estonian Robert Täht and Rio Olympic champion Douglas Souza top-scored the winning side with 15 points apiece. Michel Saraiva made 4 blocks. Cuban Luis Elián Estrada scored 10 points for Minas. Henrique Honorato had 79% reception (14 digs, 36% perfect).
