After 2015/2016 season in Superliga, three major players of Brazil’s National Team - Jaqueline Carvalho, Fabiana Claudino and Thaísa Daher - remained without a club.

The first two were forced to leave Sesi-SP, who gave up on investing in the women’s team, while the third has not reached an agreement on wage with Vôlei Nestlé/Osasco.

„Each year we remain disappointed with teams reducing investment. All this ends up hurting us. Even more, there are players with seven points (rule of Brazil’s Volleyball Confederation), which have no place in any corner in Brazil. This hurts a lot, it hurts any player. That’’s why I talk about our disappointment,“ stated Jaqueline and added she might take a one-year break from volleyball. Other option is to find a club abroad.
