A 33-year-old player was occasionally summoned for the Brazilian Women’s Volleyball National Team but had the most success while playing with Brazil in the youth categories, like being a gold medalist in the 2003 FIVB U20 World Championship in Thailand.

Camila is the daughter of the former football player Cláudio Adão and sister of the current football player Felipe Adão.

She competed professionally for Club de Regatas Vasco da Gama Rio de Janeiro, Fluminense F.C., Terracap/BRB/Brasília Vôlei, Associação Desportiva Brusque, Dentil/Praia Clube, Genter/Vôlei Bauru and Sesc RJ Vôlei, where she ended her career.
