“They served well and put pressure on our passing. We were also a bit nervous. We are a small team and they are a tall team and one of the best teams in the world. We have to be more clever in the way we play,” says Rezende.
“I want to congratulate my players. They have studied the instructions I gave them. I studied six matches that Rexona played. Tactics alone are not enough, you have to do it on the court. We had to play our best to beat them and we had to be prepared on the attack. We pushed hard from the start,” says Vakifbank’s coach Giovanni Guidetti.
