Horacio Dileo, the assistant to Marcelo Méndez in the Argentina Men’s National Team, is the new head coach of Cannes. Additionally, the French champions have secured the arrival of the Italy National Team member Gabriele Nelli. Thus, Cannes replaced Luc Marquet, the expert who brought the club to the 10th Ligue A gold medal. A 58-year-old Dileo worked in Brazil for the last 9 years, coming to Cannes from Vôlei Renata.

The club from the Côte d’Azur has also completed the recruitment of Italian opposite hitter Nelli (the top scorer of the 2019 FIVB World Cup), who spent the last season in Russia’s Belogorie and will take place of Australian Lincoln Williams (will play in Korea next season).
