USC Munster – team
The sold-out arena in Stuttgart the fans could cheer after 126 minutes of play. Before 2047 spectators the guests from Munster caught a better start and won the first set with 24-26. Then the hosts secured the second pass with 25:19, USC showed a good reaction in the third set and won with 20:25. USC lost the fourth and fifth set with 23:25 and 13:15, but the defeat ultimately played no role.
After winning the two sets Münster secured the 6th place in the standings, because VT Aurubis Hamburg only won one set against SC Potsdam. Thus, the USC Munster is better placed – because more sets won (USC: 41:43 / Aurubis: 39:41).
The 6th place entitles the team to directly participate in the play-offs.
