Reigning champion of Germany has revealed its ambitions – to win everything! Kaweh Niroomand, GM of the BR Volleys, has made the opening speech.
“When you become champion (Meister in German), then it is logical to do everything to remain a champion. We want to win all domestic trophies, but we also want to make one step further in the Europe and for the first time ever participate on the final tournament of the Champions League” said Niroomand.
Coach Mark Lebedew also pointed out high goals and added that he is impressed by the new team.
“We are physically and technically better than in the previous season. We do not want to go backwards, so the first goal would be to keep the domestic title in our home. Our biggest opponent in that quest will be Friedrichshafen.”
